A furniture catalog needs more than photos
Furniture buyers want to see a product's size, mechanism and how it fits a room. At the fair you show this on the booth, but when the catalog reaches the visitor's office only the photo remains. When you add videos to the product photos in your catalog, the buyer points their phone at a photo and sees:
- Mechanisms: sofa beds, storage beds, adjustable office chairs.
- Assembly: how modular systems fit together, with instructions for dealers and end users.
- Options: fabric, colour and size alternatives, without taking up catalog space.
- In a room: how the product looks in a furnished space.
The reader opens the QR code in the catalog once, then points their phone at any photo; no app is needed. See the furniture catalog video guide for details.
For international buyers
More than 32,000 international professionals visited IIFF in 2026. The catalog an international buyer takes home becomes part of their decision process.
- Language: the visitor page can open in the phone's language (8 languages). In videos, prefer text-free storytelling or subtitles to speech.
- Contact: when the video ends, an "Ask on WhatsApp" button can appear, and the message says which product it came from, so buyers abroad reach you directly.
- Measurement: the dashboard shows which products were watched from which countries and cities, so you can plan follow-ups after the fair.
Booth tips
- Products that don't fit on the booth: if you can't bring the whole collection, photos on booth posters and in catalogs can open videos of the other products.
- QR code: one QR code on the cover and on the booth poster is enough. Size it for the scanning distance with the QR code size calculator; on a wall poster it must be much bigger than in a catalog.
- Internet: mobile data can slow down in crowded halls; if there is guest Wi-Fi, print the details next to the QR code.
- Team: booth staff should be able to tell visitors "point your phone at the photo", so let them try it before the fair.
